Porter’s Smokehouse Restaurant Tables

Never underestimate the influence a restaurant table can have on diners and servers alike. These durable, resin table tops offer affordability with low maintenance. The strong surface can withstand the wear and tear of a bustling bar or restaurant. The ultra-smooth surfaces are easy to clean and prime real estate for displaying your brand.

These tables were custom ordered by Porter’s Smokehouse, one of my favorite restaurants in Springdale, Utah. They were designed to be lightweight, uniform in size and easy to move around so servers could quickly accommodate any size dining party. The tops are cut from pre-sanded, 7-ply pine with two-inch trim around the edges for a finished look.

Instead of vinyl decals, the client wanted their logo burnt into the top of each table to match their interior decor and their brand. I had a steel stencil of their brand laser cut, then used that to torch their logo onto all 28 tables. After each table had been properly branded, I applied four coats of epoxy. Once everything was set and dried, I prepared the tops for transport. Once they arrived it was easy for the client to mount the bases to the mounting block on the underside and locked them into place.
